The Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA) is a referencing system designed specifically for the citation of legal materials. The citation guide is currently in its 4th edition, published November 2012.

The system was first devised by Professor Peter Birks in 2000 at Oxford University in collaboration with Oxford University Press and Hart Publishing.

All GSM London students in the Law Programme are expected to use OSCOLA for all scholarly work.
