How to find good information using Library resources at GSM London

How to access eBooks

There are two ways of accessing ebooks, either via the Library catalogue or directly from Dawson Era.

Via Library catalogue

If an eBook is available, it will be displayed in your search results as below:

You can also specify from the 'Media type' drop-down menu within the catalogue search:

Via Dawson Era

Access Dawson Era directly here:

You'll then be able to search within the Dawson Era database for eBooks.

Downloading eBooks

From 1st November 2017, in order to download any eBooks from DawsonEra to your device, you will need to have Adobe Digital Editions or Bluefire Reader (both free) installed.

You will need to install one of these readers before you try to open a downloaded DawsonEra eBook, but you will only need to do this once.

If you don’t wish to install one of these readers on your device, you can still read any of the eBooks online by clicking Read Online.

Please see below a short video explaining how to download Bluefire Reader.
